The Bio:

Carla Richards is a Canadian author who writes mainly contemporary and paranormal humor. Interest in the paranormal comes naturally to her--her grandfather read palms and did numerology. She loves writing about unexplained phenomena and quirky love stories. Carla has also recently finished her first book for children.

Carla received an Honorable Mention in the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Awards (Science Fiction/Fantasy Category), and 3rd place in the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild Short Manuscript Competition. Her first story was produced on CBC Radio.

Carla still has a baby tooth, and believes it is keeping her young.

5 Things You Didn't Need to Know About Me:

1.  I wiggle my toes when I sleep.

2.  I have two rescue kitties, and an adopted whale.

3.  My kitchen disasters are legendary: from accidentally making garlic chocolate icing, to exploding spaghetti and meat sauce the first time I cooked for a new boyfriend.

4.  I love Monty Python movies.

5.  I'm a waterbug, and happiest around water.
